Zhou Jianzhong, born in Wuxi of Jiangsu Province, doctor of engineering, professor, supervisor of PhD, middle-aged academic leader of “Qing Lan Project” in Jiangsu Province (2008), high-level talent of “Six Talents Summit” in Jiangsu Province (2009), and outstanding research supervisor of Jiangsu University. He successively held the posts of deputy director of the Industrial Center of Jiangsu University, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu University, and secretary of Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering. And now, he is the dean of School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University, dean of Institute of Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Equipment Technology, director of Laser Technology Institute, director of Key Laboratory of Laser Shock Wave Processing Technology of Mechanical Industry and director of Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Photonics Manufacturing Science and Technology. He was senior visiting scholar of Konstanz University of Applied Science and technology in Germany (2005.03-2005.09), visiting scholar of Maryland University in the United States (2012.07-2012.08), senior visiting scholar of University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States (2016.09-2016.12).

Xu Xiaojing, male, born in February 1967, doctor, professor and supervisor of PhD. He graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University (2000), and was chosen as an outstanding academic youth backbone of Jiangsu University (2008). Since 2012, he has been the Executive Associate Dean of Institute of Advanced Manufacturing and Modern Equipment of Jiangsu University. He successively held  more than 40 scientific projects, including the key project of the “13th Five-Year” equipment pre-research field foundation of the equipment development department of Central Military Commission's Ministry, major project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (hosted on campus), National Natural Science Foundation, major achievements transformation of Jiangsu Province (hosted on campus), industrial science and technology support of Jiangsu Province, industry-university-research cooperation innovation foundation of Jiangsu Province, horizontal cooperation and etc. He has published nearly 200 SCI and EI papers, authorized more than 50 invention patents as the first inventor, and directed more than 100 postgraduates. He is mainly engaged in basic research and industrial application research of advanced manufacturing and modern equipment technology in the field of mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, and formed his own characteristic and original advantages in the field of new material design theory by lightweight technology, new preparation and processing technology, and key component manufacturing.
